Need to charge daily otherwise no good.
Battery operated cartridge is a stupid idea.
They should be both rechargeable to work alternately.

This rechargeable flashlight works exceptionally well, adjusts very well from bright to a lower intensity, and from a beam to a very even flood light. I recommend this flashlight, it is a great value.

Q: Can you take out and replace the rechargeable Lithium battery(s) when it wears out? What type is it exactly? And If I use rechargeable AAA batteries...will it charge them up inside the flashlight?..or would I have to charge them up in a different charger?

A: Hello, yes, you can take out and recharge the batteries. It's our own proprietary battery that is included with the light. It can be recharged inside of the light as well. Regarding other brands, it's not recommended to using any other rechargeable battery in the light as it can damage the model.

A: Hello, unfortunately, we do not have the exact time frame for this. Due to the fact it is a lithium cell, it should maintain a charge longer than an alkaline battery.
