Chapin 20000 Sprayer used for roof moss removal and prevention

So far so good. Used the sprayer once for roof moss removal and prevention. Sprayed moss prevention mixture and it went on much faster and better than my other device. I also used just water to see if the spray had enough pressure to remove moss buildup and it worked pretty good. Probably should have bought larger capacity tank unit.

Q: Is the nozzle supposed to be adjustable to go from stream to spray or fan? I haven't been able to adjust it from stream.

A: It is adjustable. You should be able to get the spray by turning the nozzle all the way in. Make sure that you don't have the nozzle cross threaded.

A: Yes you can. Just don't pump too many times, that will help to control pressure. Also the nozzle is adjustable for spray as well. Hope this helps.

Q: can I use vinegar and salt with this sprayer? (4l vinegar half box of table salt) what precaution should I beware of? not clean the pump after each use? or can I leave left over in the sprayer after cleaning the nozzle?

A: Good morning, thank you for your inquiry on this Chapin Sure spray Poly sprayer item #0593930. This sprayer is equipped with Nitrile seals and will not hold up to vinegar and liquid salt as you might get a couple uses out of it but these chemicals will attack the seals. Chapin does offer a Horticultural Vinegar sprayer and that is Item # G2005P- 2gal Poly Sprayer. I hope this helps to answer your question,

Q: Can I use this with 70% alcohol to be used to disinfect shopping items during Covid? We currently fill it up with 70% isopropyl alcohol, however, it tends to smell Skunky..even after washing it a few times with soap and water before refilling with alcohol

A: The Chapin Sprayer item # 0593930P / 20000CT is great lawn n garden sprayer that comes with nitrile seals which will work and hold up against 70% isopropyl alcohol. I would recommend that you do not store the alcohol solution in the sprayer because over time the seals will start to break down as that is the case with any type of sprayer.
