Q: I am using a Message Patriot 30-06 and will be firing from the prone position and generally unassistted by other means. Would the 6-9" be tall enough to use on level ground as the 13.5-23" would seam a little high?
7 years agoA: The 6-9” should be sufficient for this Mossberg. A taller bipod may impede you (especially when you are primarily shooting prone). In most cases you can add height but if it is too tall, it is difficult to reduce height.

Q: How does this model of bipod attach to a gun? By a Sling Mount?or a Rail? and does it have the ability to have a sling attach to the bipod as well?
13 years agoA: This attaches to the swivel stud on the front of the firearm. The bipod itself comes with spot where you can attach the sling after your bipod is mounted.
