Got the unit home . Filled the oil, put the fuel in, hooked battery up, all using the very clear and easy to follow instructions. I thought unit may have been on the shelf for a while and was sure I'd have to charge battery. I was wrong. Electric start fired it right up, immediately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my husband recently purchased this generator, start up is a breeze. By the time he got back from the store I already had it running. It took me about 20 minutes to figure it out.
Its not as loud as I had expected. Once you put the wheels on it, its easy to move around even in the grass. Looking forward to when the power goes out!

Love the options of fueling of the tri fuel generator. I have only used on natural gas starts every time. I have had it about a year now and so far it’s been a great generator no problems.

A: I don’t know from personal experience, but this is a very powerful generator. It runs my Ninja 200 psi steam cleaner that runs close to 14-14.5 amps & it runs it without any issue. I’m sure it could run 2 or three of these units at the same time. My old 3250 running watts generator could run the Ninja & a 1500 watt bucket heater - but it was labouring a bit. This unit has more power than you think.

A: This generator will put out the standard total harmonic distortion (THD) rating of about 12%-20% depending on load applied. They will produce a sine wave, not a modified or square wave. This is perfectly acceptable for running common commodities found in your home such as TVs, computers, your appliances, etc. THD is a measure of the deviation of a sine wave from a "pure" sine wave. All electricity, including line electricity, has measurable THD. If you have a specific item that requires less than 3% THD such as a UPS style battery backup, a pellet stove, or high efficiency furnace control board, we recommend purchasing a Champion Inverter Generator (sizes from 2000W to 11,000W); Champion Open Frame Inverter (sizes from 4250W to 9000W) or a Champion Home Standby Generator (range from 8.5KW to 22KW); all units provide less than 3% THD. Consult your appliance manufacturer to determine if it will require a less than 3% THD power source. Thank you.
