Champion’s powerful 8000-watt generator meets ANSI/PGMA G300-2018 requirements and features CO Shield® the Carbon Monoxide auto shutoff system. Featuring Dual Fuel, allowing the 459cc engine to run on either gasoline or propane, it provides up to 10 hours of run time on gasoline or 5 hours on propane.

Powered by 459cc Champion engine which produces 10,000 starting watts and 8000 running watts, and will run for 10 hours at 50% load on gasoline
Patented fuel selector switch allows for quick and safe switching between fuel sources
Covered outlets include: (1) 120/240V 30A locking outlet (L14-30R), (1) 120V 30A locking outlet (L5-30R) and (4) 120V 20A household outlets (5-20R)
Low oil shut-off sensor
Generates a noise level of 74 dBA from 23' (7 m)
Volt Guard™ built-in surge protector prevents overloads and keeps your equipment safe from spikes in voltage
CO Shield™ technology will alert and shut off the generator automatically before harmful levels of carbon monoxide can accumulate
9.5" (24.1 cm) never-flat tires for reliable transport
Comes with battery, 25' (7.6 m) power cord, LPG regulator/hose and a bottle of startup oil

3 years agoA: 3 year limited warranty, I am quite pleased with the generator we ran it quite a lot because of hurricane Feona , we lost our power for 9 days and I ran it on propane, and had no problems

Q: What is the total harmonic distortion (THD) rating?
3 years agoA: Champion portable generators will output an industry standard total harmonic distortion (THD) rating of about 12%-20% depending on load applied. They will produce a sine wave, not a modified or square wave. This is perfectly acceptable for running common commodities found in your home such as TVs, computers, your appliances, etc.

Q: Can I get the Champion portable generator assembled and the wheels installed? It is 195 pounds, I could not lift it to install the wheels.
3 years agoA: I don’t know if store staff would do this but you could use a pry bar on the base and put wood under it until you got it high enough to put wheels on.
