Fixed Snowblower Tire Slow Leak

Great solution to slow leak in Troy Built snowblower tubeless tire. Tire is heavy but no problem pushing inside the rim and inserting the tube. I treated the tube and tire with a rubber shine product to lubricate and protect. Valves are often the problem due to rust around rim edges and replacements are available #009-4406-4, but a new tube is the best way to fix air leaks as it covers all possibilities.

Tire shop wanted $45 plus tax each. I bought 2 figuring I might damage one getting the tire back on the rim. I did end up with one in the garbage. So I returned to the store and bought another to put on the shelf for next time. I'm pleased with the quality. I was confused by the size, 7.5 for and 8 inch rim? Why not just put 8 inch? Anyway, it fits, holds air and does what its supposed to do.
