Un petit ensemble de limes. Elles ne sont pas de très haute qualité, mais elles font quand même un bon travail, surtout pour les bricoleurs du "dimanche". Lorsqu'acheter en réduction de prix (comme je l'ai fait pour 8$ + taxes) disons qu'il s'agit, alors, d'un très bon achat.

Are these the best files on the market? No. These are the set you grab when you've got no files at all, don't know what ones you might need, and need to figure out what you use most. This is a great basic set, and every single one of the included rasps and files are available from better companies separately. So, when these wear out, you know exactly what to buy from a better brand!

Q: What's the trick to attaching the handles? I see another's mentioned. Must be a way, no? TIA for any help.

A: I can't believe all the wrong answers on here for this product. I learned about file handles in grade school for Pete's sake. All you do is put the file into the handle and tap it on a solid surface (HANDLE side down) a few times. This forces the file snugly into the handle and will not come loose through normal use, if it does then just tap in again.

A: No. These are files - not sharpening tools. However, you can REPROFILE with them, which will leave you with a very rough edge that isn't really very sharp. You would then need to use proper sharpening tools. Wood chisels need to be fairly sharp to be effective. Get some decent sharpening stones or some other kind of sharpening system to go along with these.
