I bought these to hang LED lights under the soffit of our house. The light strand isn’t particularly heavy, and I stuck these sticky pads to the aluminum soffit every 2 feet. After two months, two of the plastic clips separated from the sticky pad which is still stuck to the soffit. Will probably glue them back on with an appropriate adhesive. Curious to see how they hold up through winter in Winnipeg
