Not a good fit for my lawnmower

the size was good but it didn't really fit well. I had to modified a bit to fit. Also as usual, Canadian Tire offered only selection from China. I don't know when Canadian Tire will start promoting Canadian product.

Blade was easy to install and worked fine. However, it appears the lawnmower for this blade has been recalled due to overheating. Should cdn tire still sell this blade? Found this out by chance and now i am afraid to use the lawnmower. Should i get a new mower?
