LED heavy duty bright flashlight

You always need a larger flashlight that gives lots of light. This one is heavy duty- and LED - so the battery will last a long time too and light your way in the dark. Good buy - very reasonable price.

The new battery had only one volt of charge and the light was dim. A similar flashlight I bought some years ago still works, but it had a different brand of battery

A: Also make sure that the on/off button (on black pad under the silver light socket) is positioned properly - snugged into the socket behind the gray pushbutton on the outside housing . :-)

Q: If LED bulbs are so efficient then why do they still have the yellow incandescent (Krypton) types still? Are these flashlights as bright as the Krypton bulb types?

Q: Good price & quite liked it. Kept as a spare in case of emerg. Lost it's charge not being used in a year. Do 6 volts lose charge after a period of time? Will other 6 volt battery brands fit into this casing eg. Eveready. Thx

A: Hi Phoeb, Thank you for your question. Normally this 6V battery’s warranty is 2 years, but it is possible to lose charge not being used for a year because it’s carbon-zinc battery and has discharge properties, especially when be put in product but without using. Other 6 volt battery brands such as Eveready can fit into this casing.
