Va bien mais...

Apres 10 utilisation la roue de friction a brisé et les pièces sont introuvables. Les délais de livraison chez le fabricant sont complètement ridicules. Elle va bien mais niveau qualité elle est clairement dans l'entrée de gamme et la plus basse dans cette catégorie. Moteur A1 mais tout ce qui à autour est cheep elle tord de partout ont dirais quelle va tomber en morceaux a chaque utilisation. Les centres de réparation soupirent juste en entendant le mot certified ou champion qui sont la meme choses.

Garbage

Have had this snowblower 3 years and used it 8 times total,it has always been stored and covered. The starter is destroyed as the brush inside has jammed and melted in the side of the casing. The spring has also broken on the pull start. I don't expect a lifetime out of it but I look after my equipment and expect more than 8 uses for my money.
Complete garbage and now a parts machine or boat anchor
No, I do not recommend this product.

2 winters and no problems

This machine has been great for me. It starts quickly either with the electric start or by pull rope, -5 c or -30 c, it doesn't matter. It's powerful, cuts through the snow easily and throws it a long way. Takes a little practice to direct the steel chute when you change direction, but I got the hang of it. I have a big gravel driveway and a lot of pathways to the front and back of the house. Does a great job! Just clean the snow / ice off after use (don't let it freeze hard) and its ready to ago the next time.

Good performance

Just purchased this today and put to the test immediately as we received a 20" snowfall. Startup was easy (first pull on a cold engine)and pushed through heavy "end of driveway from plow snow" without hesitation. I used 1st/2nd speed for most of the driveway which is double width and approximately 60ft long. I would have liked to see a control panel mounted chute deflection control as there is just a large hand-turn screw mounted on the chute to change the height of the snow....this isn't a deal breaker given the scaled down price though. The diameter of the chute is smaller than other comparable models but again, this is indicative of the low price....the smaller size of the chute was by no means an issue for me during my first heavy use of the machine. I have a good amount of experience with snowthrowers and what is necessary.....My previous unit was a 10hp/30" Yardworks from Canadian Tire which I owned for 17 years so this is what I based much of my knowledge on.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: It uses a belt and friction wheel. This type has been around for a long time and is cheap and easy to repair.

Q: In the features it states this as a 338cc snowblower. In the next line, it states that it is powered by a 224cc Champion engine. Which is it? There is a world of difference between a 338cc engine and a 224cc engine. Confusing.

Q: The instruction manual doesn't mention anything about adding oil to the auger gear box. Am I to assume that it has already been done ?

A: Correct. The snowblower is pre-lubricated with oil at the factory which allows you to operate the snowblower once gasoline and engine oil are added to the motor. Thank you.
