The CCM Aspen is the best hardtail mountain bike in the line-up. Features a 24-speed Shimano EZ-Fire shifting system that is extremely smooth and accurate, combining an Altus rear derailleur with a Shimano cassette freewheel. The Suntour alloy front suspension system is lightweight and soaks up bumps with extreme accuracy. Reliable disc brakes ensure quick and accurate stopping power in any condition. Lightweight alloy parts are mounted to make for a stiff and lightweight ride.

derailleur broke off, chain and gears rusted quickly

Looks decent, good frame, rides smoothly, shocks work well, great breaks, nice gear system BUT clicky and components rusted very quickly. Rode it 20 minutes to/from work for a couple weeks only before the snow and rain started. Stored bike inside during winter. Had to take it to Canadian Tire to replace chain and bracket for derailleur 3 months after purchase! Not sure what type of metal these are made of but seemingly poor quality. Have a bad feeling I will be spending a lot on repairs after the 1-year parts warranty runs out :(

I bought it two month ago and i love it!!! I’m a woman and it’s a men’s bike but i love it so so much!! When i’m riding i hear people saying: nice bike! Such a good looking bike! Was love at first sight! And it’s so smooth! It’s a pleasure to ride it! Has changed my body with the gears! Great exercise! And since you can take off the tires very easily i travel everywhere with it! i love it!!!! Absolutely love it so so so much!!

This bike looks awesome and rides great. I use it at the cabin and in the city. It feels big and sturdy but has lots of speed. I love it.

My 12yr son loves this bike

When asked, he rates it a full 5 star. He said his favourite aspect is the amount of gears it has and that it has 2 equally strong brakes. It is the envy of all his friends. I like the height of the bike and the sloped top rail so that he can get on and off the bike easily. I also like the fact that this is the last bike that I will have buy for him. Great CCM product.
