Cheapest way to make a basement or any floor warm, comfortable, and they look great. Very easy to clean, easy to install. Great product for what it is.

I have concrete floor in my basement and want a temporary/ cheap solution to cover my floor. I have trialled a 4 X 4 foot section in front of the couch and I am very happy with them. They are significantly warmer than the concrete and a bit cushy so nice to even sit on. The other great thing was that when my basement started leaking I just ripped them off the floor and dried them out in the sun later. Now they are back down and I am buying some more to cover more area. JUST note...they float....so if you are stepping on them when water is underneath, you may go for a little ride ( speaking from experience!) I just wish they would come on sale. I have had them on my "watch list" for almost 6 months and never have they been advertised. Also, a few varieties of colours would be nice!

Easy to install

These tiles are cheap, look good and super easy to lay down. Once you walk on them for a few days the seam disappears as well. I used these tiles in a workout room and they are perfect. They have enough cushion that the weights don't mark the flooring below which is tile.

Interlocking Floor tile

I purchased 13 packages of these Floor tiles, with 4 tiles per package, they covered 258 square feet of my basement floor. It only took me two hours to lay out a "U" shape walk area and I am no spring chicken. This is very easy to install and a pair of sissors comes in handy when joining the outside edge pieces. I had visited a flooring store and the closest they could come to this product was $3 per sqft. This is a good price at 94 cents per sqft.

Q: Basement install Would this product be ok to install in a basement? I'm looking for carpet tiles to install in my basement, over concrete, from wall to wall. Would this product work as wall to wall carpeting? Does it need an underlay to keep it warm?

A: Does not need underlay. I did my basement and they are warm by themselves. I glued down the corners because one reviewer said that they will float if water gets in the basement. Great so far.

Q: how comfortable are these? how comfortable are these? i am looking at an affordable way of putting carpet in my kids rooms, rooms are only about 100sq ft thanks

Q: Installation on a balcony floor I am looking for an economical way to cover the cement floor on my balcony that is about 200SF. If these tiles get wet in the rain, will water be able to drain out from underneath?

Q: Do they have interlocking groves on all four sides? It appears to only have them on 2? I am going to be placing a large order and need to fill a large space, therefore I need interlocking connectors on all edges. Many thanks. Ali

Q: I am very interested in putting down these tiles in a basement but need to put and underlay down for various reasons. The underlay, however, is plastic, will these tiles adhere to this or will they just "slide" ?

A: The Carpet Over Foam Floor Tiles are covered with a non-woven fabric. They can be cleaned using soap and water, or any gentle cleanser. They should be air dried after cleaning. Sometimes, depending on how thoroughly they have been cleaned, it may be better to disassemble the tiles when air drying.
