Solar lighting has come a long way! Shines a perfect amount of light and lasts more than 8 hours. On/off switch when not in use. Well worth it!

Q: After only 3 months, my solar light is not as bright in the evenings. Should I purchase a new battery? If so what size? The part that recharges is getting full sun, but I have noticed that the light is not as bright as it was when first purchased. I no longer have the manual and would like to know what size replacement battery I would need. Thanks!

Q: What is 25 lumens equal to in Watts, so we can compare to other lights? Surely this could be used indoors, with the solar panel in a bright window?

A: 25 lumens in terms of a small regular incandescent light bulb is like a 6 watt bulb or less. I would not encourage indoor use.
