These were replacements for ones bought last year which faded terribly within 2 months. The only reason for the purchase was it was necessary to match existing chair pads colours.

Buy additional equipment to get it stand still

To start with it is no doubt a good umbrella. Heavy strong and sturdy. but due to its heaveyness, it does not last standing even in a minor wind. It has only a pole that you need a dig a ground and insert the pole and cover with material such as sand or dirt to ensure it stands straight. A solid stand would be an advantange.

A: Yes you can buy a stand separately and as for which one that would be something you like decoratively just for safety reasons due to wind I suggest a relatively heavy one or one that is easy to secure to the surface it is on. Hopefully this answer helps
