Large gap in between sections

I just bought this tree and upon assembly there is a big gap between the top and middle section when connected. It it is too large to be fixed by fluffing. It’s like the top section doesn’t go down far enough. Has anyone else experienced this? It’s like the pole on the bottom of of the top section is too long to fit properly into the middle section. I have attached pictures.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Bien garnie lorsque nous avons travailler les branches. Ma seule déception c’est qu’il n’y qu’une seule intensité de lumière. J’aurais aimé pouvoir diminuer parfois l’intensité des lumières. Il n’est pas compatible avec mon variateur d’intensité que je possède à la maison.

A: Yes, there is the option to have the lights on steadily without any blinking/twinkling. We bought this last Christmas and we’re quite happy with how it looked when fluffed up and decorated. Looking forward to putting it back up again in December.

Q: Why is there a small section of lights that are noticeably brighter than the rest of the lights on the tree? FYI the tree is brand new and purchased less than a week ago.

A: Thanks for reaching out. There should not be any issue with using a dimmer. However, this product was not designed to be dimmed and may not function as intended. Our recommendation is to NOT use a dimmer switch or dimmer extension cord.
