Great island for kitchen

This is a great way to add work and storage space to the kitchen. It takes some time to put together, but it's not overly complicated (it does need 2 people in a couple of spots). It's fairly well made. The leaf isn't quite level with the rest of the top and one of the doors doesn't close completely, but the door issue may be due to my lack of patience trying to fix it. Overall, very happy!

A: Je crois pas qu'il soit possible. On ne peut inverser les portes de l'autre côté dû aux rayures incrustés pour glisser les portes coulissantes. au bout moi, j'ai enlevé la tablette du bas et j'ai installé une poubelle coulissante. Le panneau du dessus pourrait être inversé, mais pas pratique.

A: There are clips inside on the sliding rails for the spring to auto close the drawer in. Make sure they are in the right position when you put the drawer on the rails

A: The other side is closed so if you wanted a spice rack it would sit on outside of island . Not built in .

Q: When you assemble this, Can you change the end that has the open shelving (short end) to the other side? I would need to put the open side at the opposite end for it to work in my kitchen

A: The basic answer would be no, because the holes for screws and dowels are already pre drilled in the pieces.

A: Yes I put heavy duty casters, 2 swivel and 2 locking casters. I also used carriage bolts to attach from inside the base. It works great. I selected a size with about 1 inch clearance so the casters don’t show and the island looks like it’s floating.
