Q: Any ideas why the lights won't work? Just took the garland out of the package and put in brand new batteries and it won't light up. I purchased two strands and one strand works fine, but the other doesn't light up at all.

A: 1) Check if the batteries are inserted in the correct orientation. 2) Check if the metal contacts are in place at each ends of the battery compartment.

Q: The timer is not working. I press the button once and nothing happens. I have to press twice which means on constantly. I’ve removed batteries and replaced but still not working.
