The CANVAS Horizon Outdoor Patio Modular Pergola features a rustproof aluminum frame, as well as heavy-duty anchoring stakes to keep everything in place. To ensure that you and your guests are comfortable and protected, the shades included in this kit are breathable and UV resistant. When not in use, the shade canopy can be easily removed from the frame. This pergola kit also includes twist hooks that can be used to hang additional accessories such as lights, as well as manage any cords that may be inside the pergola. To really elevate your setup, pair one or several of the compatible CANVAS accessories such as the premium Bar Counter (CT# 188-1318) or the CANVAS Dawn LED Wall and Post Spotlight (CT# 052-1732).

Great until it wasn't

We loved the pergola until both canopies ripped FOR THE SECOND TIME. Its a shame because you cannot install anything else to make this pergola useful after the canopy rips. Nevermind we also have the blind attachment that also ripped......

Top sun shade does not hold up

I bought this in 2023 and had it up for 3 months, June to end of August. Two webbing straps had worn through and broken from rubbing during daily winds and breezes. In June of 2024 I had it up for a month and a buckle broke and the material is starting to stretch apart. I took it down and put it away and basically forgot about it. I can’t find a replacement for it, it’s not sold separately and honestly I don’t know if I’d want to spend the money on a product that will only last a season. I purchased two side shades as well but it can’t be used as intended without a top shade. Very disappointed in this product. I love the look of it, the legs and frame seem sturdy but the lack of a top shade makes it unusable.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Not enough bolts and t-nuts

Gazebo is nice but didn’t come with enough bolts and t-nuts. Had to find and buy extra to finish putting it together.

Great features, but quailty poor

I purchased the CV Horizon Pergola (188-0240-2) at the Canadian Tire in Brandon Manitoba and also the CV Horizon shade and CV Horizon Counter on 05/08/2025. On 05/09/2025 I purchased the CV Horizon Extension kit (188-1321-4) at the Polo park store in Winnipeg.
We set the entire Horizon Pergola kit and components unit on our deck the next week. After one wind storm the Canopy strap on the extension kit frayed and ripped entirely off the strap attachment point. We were very disappointed with the quality of the canopy and the straps that attach it to the pergola. This happened after the unit was up for one week.!
Most pergolas are equipped with a retractable canopy that can be easily rolled up in wind and rain. We are not able to fix the strap and feel for the price of the Canvas modular unit the canopy design needs to be reviewed yet again. This is a recurring problem. Please advise!

Terrible quality

We loved the look of the pergola but we are so disappointed with the quality. After less than 1 season the cover at the top started to rip. We tried to put fabric tape but it's a lost cause. We also tried buying a different cover but nothing fits. There's no replacement that we can purchase so our $1200+tax pergola is useless. It is also rusting.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Hello Nick, you can use soapy water to remove the sticker and for any remaining adhesives, you can use rubbing alcohol to get rid of the sticky stuff. Please thoroughly wipe the product down afterwards.
