Very heavy, but very sturdy. Easy to assemble. We wouldn't have bought it if it weren't on clearance but splurged because of the discount.

Elegant Patio Swing

Swing looks great on our patio. It's very sturdy and holds 3 adults comfortably. 2 main comments: 1) the hook is a little long so the swing hangs too low 2) the top is flat. We live in climate where it can snow and be hot on the same day so we had to buy a extra large cover for it. It works relatively well but because the top is flat, rain and snow pool on the tarp (still looking for a fix for this as we will have to make the top a "peak" so the water runs off). As for the long hook, we went to the hardware store and replaced it with an anchor shackle and a s-hook which took it up 1-inch and now it's perfect!

I bought this a few months ago when there were no reviews! Frame is very sturdy. We have it on the deck on the north side right against the house so the fact that the canopy doesn’t stay put doesn’t bother me - we don’t ever put the canopy on. If you need the canopy you will be very frustrated as it doesn’t stay put and you wouldn’t be able to leave it on. The cushion is poor quality - very worn and flattened already, no zippers so you can wash the cover. With that said, I do love this swing/daybed and it has got a pile of use. At some point I will likely replace the cushion with something better because we use the swing and daybed so often. I don’t regret the purchase as I got it on sale but it will cost us to keep it comfortable and useable.

Looks great but quality does not meet expectations for cost!

Bought this swing about a month ago and although beautiful the quality is not up to par. The canopy continuously flies off as there it no way to secure it and the cushions are very low quality and constantly need to flip so not to lay flat after sitting on it for a few minutes. Very unhappy with the quality especially since we paid full price for this!
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Nmark I bought the same swing/daybed and the roof was placed under the bracket on the frame and I finally had to take it off during the wind because in a half an hour it blew off 4 times

Q: We bought this recently and it makes too much noise when swinging, how do we make it silent? We tried to oil the joints but didn't work. it is very annoying noise for us as well as neighbors. Please advise

Q: Is there a winter cover specifically made for this? Can't find any covers to meet the dimensions.

A: Thank you for your interest in the Hampton Swing/Daybed. The frame is brown. Though it's powder-coated finish is rust-resistant, steel is prone to rust over time with exposure to the elements. In case od rust or scratches, lightly sand the affected area and apply touch-up paint. To maintain the finish, periodically apply wax with a soft cloth.

Q: What is the seat height from ground? Can you adjust the distance of the swing seat from the ground? How many cushions do you get with product? How thick is the cushion(s)?

A: Thank you for your interest in the CANVAS Hampton Swing/Daybed from Canadian Tire. To answer your questions: Floor to top of the seat cushion is 23". You receive 1 seat and back cushion and 2 arm rest cushions. The thickness for the seat and back cushion is 5.25".
