Cheaply made shelf. This thing is just glorified cardboard with paper glued on to make it look like wood. There is no way to actually make is secure. Save your money.

A: . The “Floating Shelf” mounts to the wall with a Steel Bracket ( bracket & mounting hardware included) that has steel posts or tubes, attached to it that fit snuggly inside holes within the interior of the shelf. Once secured to the wall slide the shelf on to the bracket and insert set screws as needed. See illustration below.
