Recently purchased this item. It is a lovely basket & cld be quite useful. However, I was very disappointed to find that the measurements are not as described. There is no place on this basket that measures 15.75 x 17.71 in which is the size for which I was looking. I must return it since it does not suit my needs.

Perfect in an office

I changed my desk from one with drawers to a standing one. I needed a basket to hold stuff I normally would have in a desk drawer (ie push pins, stapler). This is a nice size, attractive and, with a throw on top, very pretty and uncluttered. I don't move it so I don't know how it stands up that way but it is sturdy on the floor. Really pleased with it!

Q: What is a cape basket? Would this be good for storing my capes?

A: Absolutely! Due to it’s wider bottom you will find that you can neatly store multiple capes and still have room for other important items such as your bullet resistant body suits and identity concealing masks. Every cape wearer should have at least one cape basket. Plus, it’s made of eco-friendly materials, well, except for the cheap handles (that I simply removed.)
