A: You can sit or lie down on it without the cushion. It won’t damage the chair. We store the cushions and sometimes sit on the chairs without them.

Q: Does the back rest support weight as well should you want to use it as a bench. Is there any storage space underneath.

A: Hello Joanne, we do not recommend the CANVAS Bala Patio Lounger be used as a bench. There is not a storage area underneath the lounger.

Q: The loungers were outside and it rained. The cushions didn't dry so we took the cover off and all the cover over the padding is gone to shreds. Why did this happen? Can this be replaced under warranty?
