Acrylic Came Off Knob At First Use

I bought these knobs to jazz up some MDF bifold doors in our basement. The knobs looked beautiful but the acrylic came off its metal post upon first use. As a decorative item that would see no use as an actual knob I'd say go for it and buy them. They are pretty enough. As far as intending these to be used an actual working knob to, you know, OPEN THINGS, forget about it. Definitely not worth the price.
