Bought this a few weeks ago. It was a bit of a spontaneous purchase but I’ve always wanted one to increase our holiday vibe outside. I love the Moose and the lights are great. The problem with it lies in the design. There are connection holes that they show in the manual that isn’t in the actually physical item itself. Also, about a third of the zip ties that they provide broke before I even could use them. Those are the cheapest zip ties I’ve ever seen. You definitely need somewhere to anchor it on the lawn. Otherwise it will fall due to its naturally unbalanced nature. I do like it though.

A: I find Canadian Tire customer service very good. I would take it back and exchange it for a new one. I had to do it with mine because after a week the 1 antler broke off. Just went through my 2nd winter with 3 and they are still going strong.

Q: Would the moose handle a snow load if installed on top of garage?

A: Yes I believe so . I will say mine died after just one season . I took 3 back and the manager was really good about it and replaced them . Hopefully it doesn’t happen again . They have a one year warranty . So plug them in like in sept next year and make sure there still working

Q: Half of my moose does not light up. Is there an easy way to find the burnt out bulb? And why would anyone think that design for lights is acceptable?

A: Thanks for reaching out! The light set was built on a series circuit. This means when one bulb goes out, the entire circuit is impacted and does not stay lit. May we suggest to check on the connection of the lights if there are any loosen bulbs; especially for the lamp holder with 3-wires connected at the bottom as these are the joints of the series circuit. Q: I just assembled my moose and the antlers and ears stand straight up and aren’t at anotomical angles like shown on the box. Are we supposed to bend the insertion rods so the antlers and ears sit correctly? This doesn’t look like a moose
