Not too impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to mount a painted photo to the wall. It stuck for a very short time. I tried adding more tape and hanging again and it still didn’t work. The picture is very light, just a regular canvas. I was excited for this but it missed the mark for me.

Pretty Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tape is good for basic functions like keeping a rug down, but the adhesive isn’t as strong as regular duck tape. I got it to hold up my power strips, but I ended up having to nail the bottoms because the tape would not hold. It’s definitely decent for small jobs and it’s easy to tear and use, I just wouldn’t use it for heavier items in the figure.

Very resistant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is very durable. I used to cover my pipe when the Temperature dropped, and it's very resistant. It's withstood sun, rain and wind for quite time and is still intact. Is very easy to use and cut the tape.

A little goes a long way

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me just say that a little goes a long way, I’ve been wanting to hang one of my barn decorations with a previous adhesive (command strips) but it was always falling down (maybe due to weight). I applied only 4 little strips of this tape (2 on each corner) and it hasn't budged at all. It's very easy to use and I like how there is no sticky residue left on the scissors when cutting. It was a little hard for me to start peeling the blue plastic cover on the strip but it was no problem with a tweezers. I can't wait to use this to hang picture frames so I no longer have to make holes on the walls. Definitely a game changer!

I won't buy it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't get good results with this tape. I was not able to use the ability to do double sided. I tried many times to peel and have the ability to use both sides. It had an odor that is strong. I received this from influencester as a sample to review.

Q: What can be used on stairs for Low Vision Person? I'm currently using this tape on the end of each stair. This helps her see where the carpeting ends so she can step down. However it leaves adhesive glue residue after a few months. Are there any alternatives?

  • A: Hi, While there will always be risk of adhesive residue on the surface when removed, the best solution would be painter's masking tape with UV resistance and multiple days of clean removal. Cantech team

Q: Is this tape good to use on winter carpets??? Getting ready to place carpets in the lobby.

1 Answer
  • A: The adhesive on this tape will withstand cold and damp weather and is most often a good choice for carpets inside even if they get wet. It is important that the surface is non-porous and clean. The more the substandard condition (wetness + surface) the less the tape will withstand and may only be a temporary fix.

Q: Will this tape leave residue on the flooring when you try to remove, or damage the flooring in any way?

1 Answer
  • A: Yes, this carpet tape will leave a residue on the flooring due to the aggressiveness of the adhesive. We do not recommend using this on unsealed floor surfaces such as unsealed tile or barnwood. It is fine to use on sealed flooring where Goo-Gone or WD-40 (petroleum based products) can dissolve the bond and remove the residue without damaging the flooring.
