I've been using this compressor for the last few months on a regular basis the only and I emphasize only issue I have is how loud it is otherwise it's great

basic all around unit

This unit is your basic all around unit for the average home owner, but this 8G compressor is not big enough to run the air tools provided with this kit efficiently. Excellent for keeping you tires inflated though!!

A: The Campbell Hausfeld 8 gallon compressor puts out 4.8 SCFM @ 40 PSI and 3.5 SCFM @ 90 PSI. We do not have a rating for @ 50 PSI as tools don’t general require running at 50 PSI. As for the Air Tools included, the Nailer is a 18 Gauge 2-in-1 Brad Nailer / Stapler (0.8 CFM @ 90 PSI), 1/2” Impact Wrench (3.3 CFM @ 90 PSI), and the Paint Gun (5.0 CFM - @ 40 PSI). A: The Campbell Hausfeld 8 gallon compressor puts out 4.8 SCFM @ 40 PSI and 3.5 SCFM @ 90 PSI. We do not have a rating for @ 50 PSI as tools don’t general require running at 50 PSI. Hope this helps answer any questions you had about the compressor.

Q: Power? How much horsepower does this unit have, or how much SCFM? I own a Campbell Hausfeld 3 gallons compressor with only 1 HP and it's loud, so loude... I would'nt want another one like this...

A: The Campbell Hausfeld Compressor Starter Kit has 1.2 Running HP, 4.8 SCFM @ 40 PSI, 3.5 SCFM @ 90 PSI, and a Max of 125 PSI. Additionally, this compressor would be ~86dB (much quieter) compared to the 3 gallon that would be ~93 dB.
