Not a Good Tool

I bought this hatchet to go in the back of my sled. Due to the packaging you cannot get a feel for the tool till it is out of the package. I was extremely disappointed with the beveled cutting edge of the head and the means the head is attached to the handle. Far better tools in the market.

A gimmick at best

A gimmick at best. The head is bolted to the handle which prevents the hatchet from splitting wood. The handle itself is uncomfortable due to its shape and how the saw fits into it. Do yourself a favor and just buy a proper hatchet.

A: It is a mixture of titanium and stainless steel. Pure stainless is heavy, adding titanium makes it lighter.
