Great Buck Product

I purchased the black-handled version of the Omni on-sale, which was an excellent deal. I find the knife to be sensibly sized, perfect for camping, wilderness hiking, etc. The grip is very ergonomic and comfortable. Blade is full tang, about 3.5 mm thick, not heavy, but still quite robust, making the knife not overly heavy for carrying. It has a lanyard hole, which is a must if using aboard a boat. Sheath is nylon/cordura, nicely styled and appears to be rugged enough. It also will not dull the finish on this shiny blade, over time, like a leather one probably would. It would be a nice touch to have a small gear pocket on sheath, for a sharpening stone, fire starter, etc. although this would add bulk. This knife is designed as a skinner however, and not an all-out survival knife. USA. made, and the Buck name ensures quality. I am satisfied with this product, and I would recommend it.
