a home for 3 weeks straight

I camped in this tent for 3 weeks straight. Setting up this tent is fairly easy, especially for a not so seasoned tenter. I was worried about leaking, thanks to the reviews on here. It rained every night for the first week and it did not leak. In fact, the only time I got wet, was when I fell asleep with the windows open. I did notice that water would pile up on the rain fly & drip over when I was exiting the tent. If you push up on the roof of the tent, before leaving, you can shake the water off, before it drips on you. It is a 6 man tent, but I think that many people would not be very comfortable in it. I would guess 4 people should be the limit for a comfortable fit. We only had two people sleeping in it, but we used two twin air mattresses with legs and we had a little portable potty in there. We found it pretty roomy width wise. Height wise, some of the taller people will be ducking. The take down is harder than the videos (both on here & youtube) lead to believe. But they are demonstrating on a two man tent, which is considerably smaller and I would imagine easier to manage. This size requires at least two people. Once you get over the fear of breaking a pole, you can get the tent twisted & bent. And it does fit back into the bag it came in. (I had my doubts about that.) Overall, I would recommend this tent.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Owesome tent

This is an awesome pop-up tent, we have 4 different tents and this is the best tent to setup and tear down. In 15 minutes we are able to setup and tear down, you don't need muscle of steel to tear down just trick to remember to create number 8 twice and that's it. It has lasted us through rain and not a single drop of rain came inside, the best investment out of all the tents I have bought. I recommend it to all those who don't like to waste 1-2 hours of setup and tear down, just learn to make number 8 twice with proper twist (no muscle power) just trick. I have 4 other tents and they all take 1-2 hours to setup and tear down and lot more complicated to maintain. We have already camped 5-6 times and very very easy.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    One night and needs repairs.

The idea behind the tent is simple - the basic frame does pop open and can then be secured with the tent pegs and support pole. The set up is really quick and easy. It is light, easy to carry, and takes up very little space in the closet, garage, or vehicle. The inside of the tent is nice and roomy. However, the tear down is difficult - took 3 people several attempts to get the tent back into its original package. It does eventually fit back in just fine just not as easily as the video shows. Also the quality is so-so. The elastics holding the rain fly to the tent broke in a mild wind the first night we used it. There are no loops or clips on this 'attached' side to use as backup should this happen. Can be repaired but shouldn't have to do repairs after one night of camping. For the second night we had to tie the elastics around the cord but they broke completely free of the rain fly leaving one whole side with no way to support it. Not a welcome middle of the night experience. Two nights camping - not overly impressed with this tent. The design and pop-up concept has potential though - hope with some simple improvements this will in future be a great tent.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Cheap Tent

I bought the tent for occasional camping. I waterproofed the fly, but the rest of the tent, which isn't covered by the fly, leaked horribly, almost every seam was leaking. As well one of the tent poles snapped during a somewhat windy day. It is easy to set up but very difficult to fit back in the box. I wouldn't reccomend this tent.

No, I do not recommend this product.
