The Briggs & Stratton 306cc 2-Stage Gas Snowblower powers through snow with its dependable Professional Series engine and electric start. The snowblower's large clearing width makes quick work of heavy snowfall, while the dual-trigger steering and 6 forward/2 reverse speed options provide maneuverability and speed control to match conditions. This electric start snowblower also includes premium features such as LED headlights and heated grips.

Lots of power found 1st gear to fast

Solid machine

I ordered this snow blower even though the reviews were mixed. From what I read the negative comments made no sense. I found the unit packaged very well to the point I feel they went overboard with cardboard and extra packaging to prevent scratches. I used the machine and found it started easily, when warm I did not have to choke or prime the machine a simple pull and it started! I have yet to use the electric start. Someone commented that the shear bolts failed easily, I decided to chop and throw solid ice to see how capable the machine is,,, no issues. I am very impressed with the snowblower. The company Candian Tire used to deliver the machine,,, that is another story.

bad cord

the cord to plug in to use electric start does not plug in . you can see looking into the female end the metal has no opening to plugin . metal is there just not assemble /made right

As Good as the old Craftsman Version

2nd Season with blower I had the Craftsman version for 22 years the only reason it went was because my house burned down... starts with a single pull, don't bother to use the Electric start expect when pulling the plug and letting it rotate after maintenance.. it is the exact same one down to the motor... B&S 1350... with better shoot controls, a tin console and LED light vs halogen of the old one.... can't beat it for the price. Heated hand grips just warm.. but if you've even have had no gloves on or just work gloves you'll appreciate them... throws snow far enough best case 40 feet.. worst case.. less than 1/2 that.. at its widest driveway is 30ft... and about 3000 sqft total... Changed the oil and run 5w30 Synthetic... and run 91 octane fuel... small engines run better on it.... expect another 22 out of this one put a little maintenance into them don't force them or abuse them and they will go a long long time...
Yes, I recommend this product.
