Owned for 7 years, four kids, cooked chicken wings, French fries, fish, probably one or two other things. Only complaint is that it's not big enough for all six of us but I guess I'll need to buy a restaurant sized one next! Pro-tip, use frozen French fries to get super crispy chips!

Q: What is the capacity of this deep fryer? It would be helpful if customers could compare similar products but, of course, the same information should be provided for each brand.

A: There is a minimum and maximum oil level mark in the reservoir. The minimum is about 1.7 to 1.8L, which is more than the typical store-bought oil container of 1.42L. If you making more than very small amounts of food, it seems that you have to fill to this level or you will not cover your food. The maximum oil level is probably 3L, thus a 3L fryer. The maximum volume of food you can put in the fryer basket itself is about 1650 cubic cm (about 12.5cm wide x 5.5cm deep by 24cm long), or 101 cubic inches. Hope this helps.

Q: Would this fryer work for frying multiple donuts at once? And is there a way to have it open while frying so you can turn the donuts halfway through?

A: Yes, multiple donuts can be cooked at once – as long as the food/oil max capacity is adhered to. No – no deep fryer should ever be used with the lid open for safety reasons.

Q: Is there a larger version of the 3 litre model? I would llike a version where I can lift out the basket for deeper frying space (battered fish for example) and where it won't get stuck to the heating bars.
