Excellent value for the price

I have had two of these, the first one lasted probably 5 years, this last one I've had for at least 3 years already. The first one died because the dial that turns it on and off and sets the timer broke. I just bought another one. It's a great little oven and truthfully for the price you aren't going to find anything in this size that can cook just about anything as well as this does. Is it perfect temperature? Should you be baking sensitive items that require exact temp and exact time? Meh! It's a toaster oven with a "glass" door, but if you're at all a capable cook, this thing will cook anything you need it to. Bonus is that the older model came with a pizza stone which I still use! Makes great pizza. Just get it fiery hot and then slide your pizza on the stone. 5-10mins later it's done to perfection.

Q: about heat output
I am trying to decide between a Flavour Wave radiant cooker and the Bravatti tabletop convection oven-My one concern is about heat output. I don't want something that heats up the kitchen in summer if I use either of these-does anyone have a comment?

A: I have an older Bravetti counter top convection oven and use it all the time. I don't think the oven of my stove has been turned on for years.
Yes, it generates heat, but not much. As well as the efficiency of the convection system, you have to consider that heating up a 3/4 cubic foot oven uses a lot less than heating up a 3 cubic foot stove oven.
Mine may be a bit bigger than this one .. not sure since it does not give the dimensions, but it will cook a roast big enough to serve 6-8 people, the rotisserie works great with a chicken, or a roast.
know nothing about the flavor wave, but can recommend this Bravetti unit based on very good experience.

Q: Does your door close all the way?
Just purchased this and the door does not seem to close all the way especially at the top right hand side. Does anyone else have this issue? It isn't readily apparent. My husband didn't notice until I pointed it out to him.

Q: Bravetti Convention & Rotisserie Oven TO241B
The upper heating wires were not turned on while oven was on Convection Bake. The temperature in the oven only reached about 375F after 30 minutes even when I set it to 450F. Is my brand new unit defective? Thanks!

A: No mine does the same thing. Convection is a joke. If it's less than 90 days, get rid of it quick, don't get stuck with it like me.

Q: any way to stop rack from falling out of oven when you pull it out 1/4 way
12 years ago
2 Answers
A: If you are pulling the rack out the last 1/4 of the way it will fall out but it shouldn't be falling out if it's only 1/4 the way out. I can pull mine out past 1/2 way and they stay in the oven.

Q: what steps are required to toast
Ie: do you have to turn the temp dial as well as the function one, and do you have to turn the timer past 20min then back to the toast time?

A: For best results, you'll want to pre-heat for 2-3 minutes, with the temp control set at 450 (leave it there), and the controls set to toast. I then just use the timer, and you don't need long! If you don't pre-heat the toast comes out poorly, but with the pre-heat, its some of the most evenly toasted bread I've ever done!

Q: How easy is this oven to clean?

A: The Interior is brushed steel, so it might stain a bit over time. But I've have no issues cleaning up after rotisserie chicken and pork, broiler port chops, etc.

Q: Does the bravetti toaster oven (43-0856-2) toasts bread evenly and easily? thank-u.

A: Yes it does... Put it on the wire racks instead of the solid tray and it will toast evenly. I have done 6 slices at a time. Also make sure the rack is in the middle slot and the oven is set to "Toast" and 450F
