Q: Is it easy to take the clothesline and pole out of the spike to store it out of the ground between uses?

A: I found it very easy to remove the clothesline from the ground and store between uses. This particular clothesline comes with a convenient cap to seal the ground inset from getting into inset.

Q: we have brought this cloth line a month or so ago, just now put it up today 9th June. would like to know if the the cloth line is suppose to be loose in the spike. concerned that the wind will lift it. should it fit tight? please help. thank you ..Glynis

A: Yes it is loose in the spike I just put a little wood wedge in it to make it nice and tight.

Q: What is the actual length of the ground spike? 45 mm is less than 2". Is it 45 cm? That would make more sense to keep it stable in the winds we get!

A: Brabantia ground spike – 45mm refers to the diameter of the hole that the dryer is put in. The dryer pole is 45mm in circumference. The spike is 41.3 high x 8.7cm deep x 10.2 cm wide.

Q: size of hole in the ground I have a 1.5 inch diameter hole in the ground will your shaft fit in this hole?

A: The diameter of the dryer pole is 1.77”. The dryer needs to be anchored into the ground using the ground tube and cement or the metal ground spike.
