Works the soil very well and easily removes weeds. Very solid tool at a low price point.

Great for picking rocks and kelp

I use this mostly for picking rocks out of my garden beds, the cupped shape makes it easy to drop the rock in a bucket or sling it off in to the woods somewhere. It’s also good for breaking up clumps and it’s extremely good for harvesting kelp off of the beach. I do find it a bit bendy when using for digging in hard soil. I did have a mishap with the first one and my local Canadian tire store wouldn’t replace the defective rake, they told me to contact the manufacturer who then told me to contact the store. This went back and forth a few times before the company finally sent me a new rake by courier. The original one had a defective handle that was split at a knot and was hidden under the nice squishy handle, I did not notice this until I got home and used it. The new one works perfectly!

Good Value Cultivator

Bought it on end-of-season sale. Solid ash handle makes it a bit heavy but the extra heft is useful for breaking down clumping clay soil where fibreglass handles might have too much flex. Stout tines on the working end can be sharpened up with a file.

Yes, I recommend this product.
