The Bosch IDH182B 18V Two-in-One Bit/Socket Impact Driver has both a 1/4 In. quick-change hex and a 1/2 In. square drive chuck. Equipped with Bosch's EC Brushless motor, this tool provides 2X the motor life and increased performance. It delivers a max of 1,650 In.-Lbs. of torque and up to 3,200 IPM for professional power. The Bosch-built hammer and anvil system delivers maximum impact endurance and increased tool performance in wood- and metal-fastening applications. The Bosch Performance Control System allows users to adjust tool speed and torque with a push of a button to match the tool's performance to the application at hand. The driver has a three-LED light design, an ergonomic slim-grip handle and electronic motor and cell protection. It comes with a longer belt clip for convenient storage on the jobsite. This is a bare-tool kit; the battery and charger are sold separately.

    Oil grease and diesel

    I bought this thing about 2 years ago maybe and it seen everything grease oil diesel submerged in all and all I got to do to clean it is spray it down with brake clean. Highly recommended

    Great tool, very flexible with hex and large socket compatibility. Be sure to only buy long-shaft hex bits, the short ones are too short for the tool. When purchasing this tool, it was difficult to work my way through all the different variations out there to select the right one. This one checked all the boxes in terms of power and flexibility. The fact that only long-shaft hex bits are really usable, escaped my research, sort of bummed out by that. The great lighting makes up for it. Finally with this version, the lighting brightness and the positioning of the lights is what I expect. In previous versions, the bit section would shade the work surface from the light making the light much less useful. This one, with it's surround lighting, eliminates this shortcoming. A Powerful tool is also power hungry - running this with a 2 Ah battery is not going to give you a lot of usable time. Consider a larger battery for the tool.

    A freaking awesome impact

    I won a few of these from Bosch on a Instagram giveaway a few months back and gotta say, they have changed my whole outlook on Bosch tools and batteries. This little impact has some power! Not only is it good for woodworking and diyer projects around the house, pop an impact socket on and go rotate your cars tires with it! The included 6.3ah battery is a beast in its own right. Quick charging and long lasting. The only upgrade I think Bosch should look into is adding a usb port on it.... That way batteries have more use than just powering tools. I did have a hard time going on the site and registering the drills i won for some reason, but thats ok. As usual Bosch somehow always finds a way to improve on perfection, which is why they have me for life!

    I'M AN INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC AND EXTREMELY IMPRESSED WITH THIS TOOL AND I USED IT EVERY DAY AT WORK. THE 1/4 PIN AND 1/2 INCH SOCKET DRIVE, WITH THE 3 POWER SETTINGS MAKE MY WORK A WHOLE LOT EASIER AND FASTER, WITH JUST ONE TOOL. i WANT ANOTHER FOR HOME AND I'M SWITCHING OVER TO BOSCH TOOLS.

    this is the third tool because i had to exchange the first two. the first two had trigger problems that did not allow me to feather the drill speed. i'm kind of expecting the third drill to eventually have the same problem so, very disappointed.
