Great Clock for Visual Problems

Because of the large letters and white numbers on a black background, this clock is great for my Mom who has macular degeneration. Only one problem with it - the dimmer switch on the top has black lettering on a black background. Not good for people with visual impairment.

Worth the price. Great little FM-clock radio

Bought this this week. Excellent sound. Display is very bright, but can be dimmed using "snooze/dimmer button.
My only issue is that it automatically saves the first 30 FM stations. Some of these stations are very weak or full of static.
Very good sound.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Radio turns on for 1/2 hour at 6 AM and 6 PM. How to prevent this? (P.S. My Mom with the problem is in a different province and I can't find a manual online).

A: Could it be that two alarms were set and then the FM radio alarm went off? Only in this case would it start radio by itself. I guess you want to set the alarm clock for the morning, but the setting repeats for one morning and one afternoon alarm. The solution is to reset the alarm clock.

Q: How do you turn the volume down on the radio alarm, Currently it's on full volume. There is nothing in the manual that says how to turn the volume down.

A: Please check the alarm setting part of the manual that 01 is beep,02 is waking up with FM radio. If you choose 01 beep, the volume is fixed, can not be adjusted. If choose 02 waking up with FM radio, then the volume can be adjusted when the radio is play and, can be adjusted by pressing the + and - button.
