Sounded cool but was disappointed enough to return

Cool concept and I was excited to get this set up in my SUV. Within a day I made the decision to return it. Although it holds the phone in my preferred spot (hanging from the air vent), it made the vanes of the vent point down so doesn't allow adjustment of airflow. Second, it wouldn't charge most of the time. Had to fiddle with where the phone sat in the cradle for it to charge wirelessly. Biggest disappointment was that, even though the charger is connected at the USB port in my vehicle, it doesn't connect the phone directly (only to the charger) so that you can't receive text messages which had normally appeared with a direct connection to the phone. It doesn't seem to interact at all with the vehicle's system at all. It only uses to connection to the vehicle to power the device in order to charge it and operate the arms that grip the phone (which is also annoying because there's a delay in it letting go or gripping it.

No, I do not recommend this product.
