Q: air compressor clutch does not engage. If the air compressor clutch dose not engage when the A/C is turned on does it mean the clutch is faulty..

A: While this could be due to a broken or faulty clutch, this problem could also be the result of low refrigerant or oil, a faulty relay or low pressure switch, or a number of other causes. Without seeing the vehicle, there’s no way to make a proper diagnosis; we recommend bringing your vehicle to a trusted, licensed A/C technician to diagnose the problem.
