PROS: - Medium and Low speeds are perfect. Low actually mixes slowly. - The nylon heads on the beaters are more gentle on my stainless steel and plastic bowls. - Came with a case for storing everything together. CONS: - The spiral (helix) beaters are difficult to insert into their holes on the mixer. - The symbols showing which holes on the mixer are for the left and right beaters are difficult to see. - Black is not the best colour choice because of this. - The black colour also makes it more difficult to see when the mixer is dirty from ingredient splatters. - At any speed over Medium, the beaters splattered the batter out of the bowl onto me, the counter, the mixer and my wall. Not impressed. - The case isn't the easiest to use and seems like the brittle plastic will easily break. - I had difficulty getting the eject button on the mixer to release the beaters. - When mixing eggs, the raw egg white kept creeping up the shaft of the beaters till it was actually above the height of the helix heads. (I need the eggs to stay in the bowl and mix with the other ingredients). Sorry, but I would not recommend this hand mixer.

I purchased this mixer for light dirty mixing such as whipped topping or pudding etc. It works well for what my needs are. I like how the mixer and tools store away in its own case. A good buy at less than 40 dollars. Oct. 21, 2025.
