[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this kettle. Heats up fast and keeps the water warm since it’s stainless. Works great for making tea and noodles. Solid build quality and long cable that can be wound up and hidden.

Q: Be ware: 3 red plastic discs attached to the inside of the kettle near the bottom, so you boil water with plastic. Even if it is PCB free, boiled water with plastic must still contain trace plastic particles. Poor design

Q: Good day, just receive the kettle KE1700SD was somehow surprised that there is some red plastic plastic levels inside. We are are not too keen to boil water with those red levels inside. Are the Black and Decker kettle have these red levels inside ?
