Poor quality - doesn’t last.

I bought this carpet cleaner for spot treating pet stains, thought it worked great. Took it out to use today and it’s leaking. Got it to stop leaking and the water won’t go through the hose. Essentially I used it a couple of times, worked great, after sitting for a few months , I tried to use it today and multiple components have failed. Save you money, Bissell is not longer a good brand. This is my second substandard Bissell experience in as many years.
No, I do not recommend this product.

It does a good job, not great, but good enough.

I purchased this to aid in detailing my cars.
Pros: It is lightweight and very portable. It does clean decently, but requires many passes sometimes to come out clean. The power cord is very long.
Cons: It is loud, very loud, I'm a car guy so typically noise doesn't bother me, but with this I wear ear plugs. The hose is too short; I typically have to lift it into the car with me and work my way out. It can be annoying in some awkward places and again its loud and your right next to it.
Overall, I would purchase again, I have always been happy with Bissel products and for the price I feel it was worth it.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: It will definitely leave it better than it is now. Depending on the fabric your couch is made of it may take it out completely. I have a microfibre couch and this machine makes all the stains I’ve faced either go away or be barelt noticeable.

Q: Is there a way to use this for spot cleaning, like the name implies, without filling the entire tank to the fill line? It seems the only way the sprayer works is with a full water tank, and it is a huge waste of 2 oz. of expensive solution each time.
