11 years agoA: Yes, I use it on both surfaces. Be advised that the vacuum has more suction power on carpet then it does on a tile or hardwood floor.

Q: Is it possible to purchase a non-Febreze filter for this vacuum or people that don't want/can't have added scents in their home? Also, is there a HEPA filter that can be purchased for this model? Thanks.
11 years agoA: Yes the filters are available without Febreze. There are 2 types of filters available through BISSELL: Pre motor Filter - Part #:160-1972 no Febreze Pre motor Filter - Part #: 12141 with Febreze Post-Motor Pleated Filter Part #:160-1974 no Febreze
