Cheap plastic on-off dial

Worked fine the first time. On the second use, the control knob wouldn’t shut off and I had to remove the nozzle from the tank to stop the gas. Returned with no issues

I bought this propane burner and tank a week ago.
I really didn’t need it because I already had one that came in a nice kit with a lid decades ago. The only problem with my original purchase was that it needed the hand held sparker or flint activated mechanism to light the burner.
Right now I’m in two minds whether I should keep the new one or return it. Fifty bucks is a lot just to obtain a burner with a self-lighting mechanism!

This product is exactly what it says, a blow torch. Works exactly how a blow torch is supposed to, no bells, no whistles, just what it is. Propane bottle, torch head with built in lighter. Perfectly simple.

A: Hello, and thank you for your question! Yes, you can use this torch to solder copper pipes. However, it’s not designed to operate effectively at a 45-degree angle. If you need a torch that can handle being tilted more, I recommend checking out one of the TS models.
