Nice price BUT

a year ago

I bought this about a 2 months ago to match the reel my son got me for my b'day, first big walleye it as in the picture. Not impressed with this rod.

Fragile, low build quality.

Just 2 weeks after purchase, it snapped just above the joint as I was fighting a chum salmon. Drag was set and was already peeling line, so this happened without warning. The feel, action, sensitivity and weight felt really good on this rod and I wanted to like it, but for the price it’s too good to be true. I’ve added photos to reveal how thin the wall is and bad guide wrapping.
