I have only use my reel as I couldn’t get my fishing rod in my suitcase, but the real performed flawlessly in the ocean . long casts with the line but is supplied .

I purchased this combo to fish for ling cod, it works perfectly, handling any fish with ease, rod is a bit thicker than needed, reel’s smooth handling, I switched to braided fishing line and it handles just fine

A: This combo, unfortunately, is not ideal for musky. It is recommended to use a heavy action baitcast combo from 7.5'-9' long.
