This Bear Archery Cruzer RTH-RTX Adjustable Hunting Compound Bow offers maximum versatility for different adventures. The bow is engineered for all ages and skill levels, and is adjustable from 12" to 30" in draw length range and 5 to 70 lb peak draw weight. The bow comes ready to hunt equipped with six Trophy Ridge accessories including a four-pin sight, a Whisker Biscuit, a 5-arrow quiver, a stabilizer and sling, a peep sight and a nock loop. The lightweight bow fires arrows at 315 feet per second, while the advanced grip eliminates hand torque for enhanced accuracy.

Great bow. Bad service

I'm very happy with the bow but the service at the Vegreville canadian tire was awful. I bought the last bow in the store which was in the display case. The guy behind the counter told me he couldn't find the box but to take the bow and come back the next day when the manager was in and he'll have it for me. I went back 4 separate times to see the manager and was always told he wasn't in or he was on lunch, so I left me number for him to call me. I still have never received a call or the box.

First bow

It had been about 25 years since I shot archery in high school and wanted to get back into it for hunting at home. After weeks of looking I settled on this Bear model. It came with the essentials and was priced right. It took a bit for me to get dialed in and I had to tighten a few things that were loose. I wish some of the allen head screws were higher quality as they have started to round out even when using the correct size Allen wrench. Only other gripe is I wish it hadn’t come set to the max draw weight. It was easy to adjust for draw length and after getting a scale I was able to dial down the draw weight a little and it’s been fun.

Great Starter Bow - Long term review

I've had this bow for going on 4 years now and it still has the original strings with very little wear. The grip is rather thin for an adult but probably fits well in the hands of a young archer. The draw cycle starts out tough but smooths out quickly and continues like that until the valley. The bow is easy to tune if you have your own press and know what twists to make.Dont be fooled by people recommending zero cam lean at brace, this bow likes some pre-lean. Great starter bow, or just something to enjoy the bow only season starter.

It's not easy to find a compound bow for women that isn't pink. That said, it's nice that this bow can be adjusted for either women or men archers. Easy to use, no complaints.

Q: What kind of arrow dose this bow take or can it take any type of arrow and what arrow do you suggest for deer hunting

A: First off the arrow length should be about 1/2" - 1" more than your set draw length to have it just off the shelf of the bow, and arrows are measured with a spine number, the bigger the number the stiffer the spine. So it depends on what your bow is set at but it needs to be heavy enough (including the tip) to absorb the kinetic energy of the string safely
