Significantly better then the lower tier

The cost of the entry level helmets are high enough and they offer cheap padding. This helmet has much much better padding inside. Not only comfortable but the protection it offers for kids learning to skate is significantly more then the lower priced helmets. That being said Bauer should make these helmets more affordable for every kid (parents) it’s a shame for these companies not to ensure every kid has the opportunity to purchase arguably the most important piece of equipment personally the cost set me back and will take some time before I’m able to purchase the complete kit needed for lessons.
