Shock cord!

So I needed shock cord and this popped up in my search at a heavily discounted price. It was super easy to un-knot and gave me over 20 metres of good quality shock cord, which will probably last me the rest of my life. The same thing would have cost more than 7x as much at a certain online retailer. Score!

Q: What is the maximum size this can stretch to ? I need one to fit a 5x7 trailer but it obviously has to be a little smaller in order to stay put when you hook it on. Seems like this one could possibly work if I knew how big you can stretch it out.
