This shelter is a temporary structure. Failure to regularly remove snow or ice could result in collapsing and/or buckling of shelter, potentially causing damage to property not covered by warranty
We recommend using proper anchors, dependent on your sub-terrain, on each leg of the shelter for maximum stability
Clear any accumulated snow/ice from the roof structure regularly with a soft-sided instrument. We recommend always removing snow/ice from outside the structure

Q: can i anchor this down with cinder blocks can i anchor this down with cinder blocks instead of destroying my pave ment in my driveway.
13 years agoA: I have 2 10x20 sheds and in a rocky place. The screw type anchors won't work in rocky conditions. I have both of my sheds screwed and anchored on 6x6 pressure treat beams. This method would also work on asphalt. I have to replace my covers about every 3 years.

Q: I have a 17 ft boat and has a width of 7.5 feet at the 4.5 ft height. Your 10X20x8 shelter is 10 feet at the base but the width of the boat at 4.5 ft height is 7.5 ft, with the legs curved inwards will my boat fit Thu the door? A detailed measurement

Q: Does it have to be installed with the full 20 feet or can it be installed using one less rib, shortening the length? 20 feet is slight too long for my location.
3 years agoA: After installing mine I am going to say no as you need the full length to wrap around the last rib properly with the ratchet strap to tighten it

Q: Can you install this on asphalt driveway?
4 years agoA: It comes with Anchors that drill into the ground. This is what holds it down so it doesn’t blow away. If you have some other way to weight it down, you could. I also placed 2x6’s all along the bottom and bolted the frame down onto the boards

5 years agoA: Hi Becky, This will depend on the size of your vehicle, how much room you will need to comfortable enter and exit the vehicle and any attachments it may have. The door opening measures 6' 6". Hope that helps!

16 years agoA: Contact Canadian Tire directly (automotive parts centre) and they can order parts - a lot cheaper than going thru Shelter Logic.
